What’s New? THIS WEB SITE is brand new!
We have also created a new kind of web site. The World Puffin Congress web site was built to serve as a communal meeting place for everyone who appreciates puffins to come together and share their love and knowledge of puffins. Check out “About the WPC” on the menus to see what we are all about.
If you are reading this, then this web site will have only been online for a few weeks. When you explore our web site you will find some topics with little or no information yet. That’s because THIS IS WORK IN PROGRESS. It will take months to expand or fill in the blanks on some subjects, and we will be growing rapidly as individuals with experience in puffin research, monitoring, protection, painting, writing, photography, eco-tourism, husbandry, education, and other forms of expertise, join our ranks as members of the WPC and bring their voices to the meeting room.
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy what we have built so far and look forward to hearing from you.
When you come back for later visits, this “What’s New?” page will also draw your attention to new research papers, new photos, paintings or books, etc., that may be of special interest, or point you towards some new concerns or actions that may be happening in the world that affects puffins.
